1.Practice and Modes for Internationalization of Engineering Education at Chinese University—A Case Study of Southwest Jiaotong University

摘  要: With the development of internationalization of higher education, research, extension and development on engineering education was put into a global background. Internationalization has turned out to be the mandatory strategy for Chinese universities. The aim of this study is to introduce the internationalization of higher engineering education in China, its practices and modes for internationalization of higher engineering education. For this purpose, Southwest Jiaotong University has been selected as a case study. In order to achieve the above goals, two studies have been conducted. The first study aimed to explore the measures for internationalization of higher engineering education, and the second study aimed to analyze the modes of internationalization of higher engineering education. The outcome of the study reveals that, engineering education internationalization is an integrated development project at universities. Another important task of internationalization of engineering education is to meet the international standard, to improve students’ mobility, student’s competence, and last but never the least to return back to engineering.

摘  要: By the study method of documentation, it can be found that in the thoughts of Spencer and Dewey, Physical Education (P.E.) supports the whole development of modern education as a critically natural part. During educating, the value of P.E. not only shows in aspect of physical health and strength building, but what matters more is that it is the precondition to make other reasonable values exit, and also the prerequisite for human beings to break away from the period of animal and think innovation at a higher level. No matter in which educational system, it should be traced back to nature. We human beings are always trying to get rid of the control of nature. However, we will find that only being in harmony with nature can we become human beings thoroughly.

摘  要: Based on the survey and typical sample tracking, to investigate the adaptability of grade 2012 freshmen in Qingdao Binhai University, and to find out the adaptation status, characteristic and influence factors. The preliminary results show that some university students have a period of inelasticity in learning environment, living environment, and social environment. Therefore, college should implement dynamic monitoring and prospective regulation, and create the learning environment, living environment and humanities environment, and shorten the inelasticity period.

摘  要: The higher vocational education has ushered into the “post-model period”, and higher vocational colleges, especially model higher vocational colleges are required to focus on “return and innovation”. Higher vocational colleges are supposed to return from “project construction development” to “routine development”, from “highlight orientation” to “problem orientation”, from “university orientation” to “student orientation”, from “cooperation with enterprises” to “integration with enterprises”, and from “inertial development” to “innovative development”. Higher vocational colleges are expected to make constant innovations on the basis of return, and pursue the development path of innovation.

摘  要:  Interdisciplinary research along with scientific development has undergone a purely academic activity to a planned system design process. 摘  要: The close integration of scientific research and innovation personnel training is an important support in building innovative nation. This article analyzed the concept of personalized education and the problems in the process of local colleges. The approaches and strategies in personalized teaching were discussed on the basis of the practices of Hebei University of Science and Technology. It is pointed that the promotion of personalized education is an important way to establish the scientific innovation system and cultivate innovative talents.

摘  要: Education internship is the key process for the normal school students to receive the practical education experience and obtain their specialization development. The quality of education internship will directly affect the training quality on the initial teachers. According to the kindergarten work process, constructing a new practical workbook with a mode of “guide-do-inspect” can encourage students to establish clear work standards, to carry out the planned educational programs, to make self-inspection and self-reflection in a real situation. Thereby the students’ education and child care ability can be enhanced.
